This is version 3 of my family researches. I started in September 2006 to 
satisfy my wife's curiosity about her ancestors and very illuminating that 
research has been. I have also delved into my own background and discovered 
that the family surname of Collins has been corrupted from Collens.

Through this research I have been in touch with many cousins that I had lost 
touch with over the last 30 to 40 years, one of whom is in Australia and 
another in New Zealand. I'm still hoping to contact the one in New Zealand 
sometime. My thanks to cousin Shirley for photos of our grandparents etc and 
brother in law Robert for those taken at my daughter's wedding for the 
Duncombe family. Thanks also to Mike Levon for the work on the Duncombe family 
that I have been able to lift from his website.

Hopefully, one day all this research will be passed down to any grandchildren 
that may come along in the future and they will be able to trace their 
ancestors back even further than I have.
